Liberty Park Middle SchoolThis project consisted of a three-story, 130,000 square ft. addition to the existing school which includes new administration areas, classrooms, locker rooms and a gymnasium. Constructed in fourteen months, the building had several aspects of construction methods which consisted of concrete, masonry and steel construction, providing a new addition to the school which serves nearly 500 students in the city of Vestavia Hills, Alabama.

Scope of Work
Full construction of the additional building. Concrete, masonry, and steel production. Exterior construction consisted of concrete work with an exterior of concrete, brick, and stucco veneer. The interior walls were load bearing and consist of concrete block. Metal roofing construction consists of a sloped metal roofing and flat single-ply roof systems.
Special aspects of the job involved a stainless steel handrail system and a translucent canopy system. Project involved installing an emergency generator for the entire facility.
